MEDINA, Ohio (WOIO) – Medina firefighters were screened for early cancer detection in an effort to be proactive against occupational exposure to carcinogens. City officials say firefighters with the City of Medina Fire Department had access to the Galleri multi-cancer early detection test on September 26 and 27, made possible by a grant given to the city by a private foundation.
