Flipped car caused major delay on I-90

CLEVELAND (WJW) – A flipped car on I-90 westbound caused significant traffic delays for the Thursday morning commute.

SkyFOX reported from above the scene just before 7 a.m.

According to FOX 8’s Patty Harken the accident was just past E. 185th Street. She said one person was transported from the scene by EMS.

Debris could be seen scattered across the highway and all lanes were temporarily blocked immediately following the crash.

It took about an hour before crews up-righted the flipped vehicle and towed it from the scene.

9 million pounds of meat, poultry recalled: USDA

The Ohio Department of Transportation reported at one point a 61-minute delay between mile markers 183 and 181. All lanes are now reopen.

There’s been no word on what caused the crash.
