Amherst’s Marion L. Steele High School Resumes Classes After Lockdown and Threat Investigation

Amherst’s Marion L. Steele High School found itself at the center of a harrowing incident yesterday after a threatening message was discovered scrawled on a bathroom stall. The message, which made reference to a gun and included a list of students’ names, prompted school officials to institute an immediate lockdown. School officials put the lockdown in place because of a “threatening message” written inside one of the girls bathroom stalls, stated Mike Molnar, the school’s Superintendent, in a post on the official Facebook account reported by WKYC.
