Sentencing for man guilty of killing 2 Cleveland brothers in 2020

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The 26-year-old man convicted of killing two Cleveland brothers in July 2020 was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 21 years.

David Spivey’s trial began Feb. 18 in front of Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Judge John O’Donnell and a jury found him guilty on Feb. 26.

Cleveland police said Spivey shot and killed Delvonte King, 22, and Domonique King, 26, while they were sitting inside a car near the 16100 block of Walden Avenue.

Spivey walked up to the car wearing a ski mask and opened fire, killing both brothers…
