CLEVELAND, Ohio – A Ravenna man on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to kidnapping and raping a woman in 1995.
Edmund Scott, 54, was arrested last week after Cuyahoga County prosecutors, using advanced DNA investigative techniques, identified him as a suspect in the cold case.
Scott appeared via teleconference from the county jail Tuesday morning before Common Pleas Judge John Russo. Russo set his bond at $50,000 and ordered him to wear a GPS ankle monitor if released from jail. Scott was also ordered to be tested for HIV…
