(WKBN) — Ohio lawmakers are hoping to reduce the spike in unvoted property tax increases collected by schools.
Representatives David Thomas (R-65) and Jim Hoops (R-81) introduced the 20-Mill Floor Inflation Cap Bill. It would limit the amount of money school districts receive from the 20-Mill Floor to inflation in an effort to reduce the burden on taxpayers.
