PALMYRA TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) – One of four teens riding in a Chevrolet Camaro believed to be speeding died after it overturned in Portage County, the Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed.
OSHP said the single car crash happened on Scotts Corners Road about half a mile northwest of Jones Road in Palmyra Township at approximately 10 p.m. on April 11.
Here is who OSHP said was in the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro:
- 17-year-old Deerfield girl was driving
- 18-year-old Lake Milton man was in the front passenger seat
- 17-year-old Kent girl was in the right rear passenger seat
- 16-year-old Palmyra boy was in the left rear passenger seat
The preliminary investigation revealed Camaro was heading southeast on Scotts Corners Road when it drove off the right side of the roadway into a ditch, OSHP stated…
