Itching to get in the garden? Here are four Cleveland plant sales in May

Yes, it’s been raining and you have some weeding to do. But it’s also a great time to start getting some new plants in the ground. Grow some veggies to save money on your grocery bill. Plant some native Ohio plants for the first time. Or just pick out some pretty annuals to perk up your yard.

Support Cleveland students studying horticulture

Plants include vegetables, herbs, annuals and hanging baskets grown and planted by students in the CMSD Horticultural Program. Sale is cash only, and the proceeds support the program. Look for a student-run food truck on-site May 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
