INDEPENDENCE, Ohio – Independence teacher Leanne Soworowski has been named as a regional finalist in the Teacher of the Year award for the Goddard School system.
A statement said: “Soworowski is a dedicated and compassionate infant teacher who brings warmth, expertise and a deep sense of purpose to her role. She takes the time to understand a child’s needs, experimenting with different techniques and providing consistent, gentle support until progress is made. She’s a trusted partner to families, a collaborative team member and an inspiring force within the school community.”
The Goddard School has more than 640 locations across the country and this year more than 4,300 teachers were nominated for the award, which has been running for 19 years.
