CLEVELAND (WJW) — The FOX 8 I-Team has uncovered a new investigation into what happened at a downtown Cleveland casino with a man overseeing Cleveland police.
The incident at the casino now getting an outside investigation. In January, an off-duty officer called for backup during an encounter with Karl Racine, who is the head of the Cleveland Police Monitoring Group, a federal group with members earning up to $750 per hour to oversee reform in the police department.

No charges were filed in the incident, but now an outside law firm will review what happened.
Last month, the I-Team asked Racine about the incident, but he declined to discuss the matter with us. He did release a statement saying he did not act out of line and didn’t know why he wasn’t allowed in the casino…
