Guardians’ offense has hit the skids, and it’s time for 2 big roster moves, Terry Pluto says

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Guardians’ offense has gone from concerning to crisis level, and Terry Pluto isn’t mincing words about what needs to happen next.

“It’s an embarrassment. It makes no sense to have him here. Please send him out,” Pluto said on this week’s Terry’s Talkin’ podcast, referring to outfielder Jhonkensy “Big Christmas” Noel, who’s batting .150 while striking out in about a third of his 80 at-bats.

Pluto’s comments came in the wake of the Guardians’ weekend sweep at the hands of the Cincinnati Reds, where the offense completely disappeared in clutch situations. Cleveland went 3-for-21 with runners in scoring position in the series…
