CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The Guardians find themselves without their center fielder and 2-hitter for the second time this year. After missing games on Tuesday and Wednesday with plantar fascitis, Lane Thomas was placed on the Injured List on Friday.
It is his second stint on the IL having missed time earlier in the year with a wrist injury.
Thomas was sent to a specialist this week, the club learned from that visit that this will not be something that will go away any time soon…
