Thousands expected downtown for Pride in the CLE Saturday

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Pride in the CLE returns to downtown Cleveland Saturday as Pride Month celebrations take place across the country in June.

Former Big Fun toy store owner hosting special garage sale this weekend

The 10th annual Pride in the CLE starts at 11 a.m. and runs through 6 p.m. The festival is expected to bring thousands of people to downtown Cleveland in a celebration of “Pride, community and love.”

The annual march will step off from Public Square and end at Malls B and C on Lakeside Ave. where guests can enjoy, food, drinks, vendors, a family fun zone and entertainment through 6 p.m.

“Pride in the CLE is a day to honor our history, celebrate our present, and march boldly toward a future where every LGBTQ person is safe, visible, and valued,” said Phyllis Harris, Executive Director of the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland.
