CLEVELAND (WJW) – Hospice of the Western Reserve held its 14th annual Walk to Remember at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Sunday morning.
The event is the nonprofit’s biggest fundraiser, which allows it to continue providing end-of-life care as well as support for family members who are grieving.
“It’s a wonderful celebration of life,” president and CEO Bill Finn said. “To be here at the zoo for our Walk to Remember, and to see so many families with T-shirts of their loved ones on is just an amazingly beautiful experience.”

Finn said over 2,200 people participated in the event which draws thousands each year.
