MENTOR, Ohio (WOIO) – The Mentor Police Department is honoring the memory of one of their own on the seventh anniversary of his line-of-duty death.
THAT TRAGIC DAY
Ptl. Mathew Mazany was struck and killed while assisting with a traffic stop on SR-2 eastbound near OH-306 on June 24, 2018.
The 41-year-old officer served for more than 14 years, and earned the exceptional service award.
