Man accused of deliberately running over man at Big Creek Reservation, faces judge

CLEVELAND (WJW) — A Cleveland man accused of deliberately running over a 62-year-old Lakewood man with his car at a local park last week, killing him, appeared before a county judge on Thursday morning.

Faraj N. Sabeiha, 33, of Cleveland, was charged with murder in Parma Municipal Court. The case was bound over to the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court, where he appeared for the first time on Thursday, records show.

He was ordered to be held on a $500,000 bond, which was continued from the lower court, and ordered to have no contact with the victim’s family.

The incident happened at about 9 a.m. on June 20 in the parking lot near Big Creek Reservation’s Memphis Picnic Area in Brooklyn.
