Marino’s Seafood Closes After 30+ Years

Marino’s Seafood Fish & Chips served its final meal last week, but another seafood restaurant will soon take its place.

Located at 1216 W. Fifth Ave., Marino’s Seafood closed over the weekend after the retirement of owners Harry and Rosemarie Kougendakis, who took ownership of Marino’s in the early 1990s from Mike Morino. The restaurant announced on its website that it will be replaced by Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips, a fast-food seafood chain.
