CLEVELAND (WJW) — A man was killed and another person was injured in a shooting early Thursday at Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland, just ahead of the July 4th holiday weekend.
According to Cleveland Metroparks Police Chief Kelly Stillman, a large group of people — believed to be between 18 and 20 years old — had gathered at the lakefront park around 12:40 a.m., well after the park had officially closed.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire and found one victim on a sidewalk near the beach. A second victim was discovered shot inside nearby high-rise apartments. One of the victims, a man in his 20s, later died. The other person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not released the names of the victims and said no arrests had been made as of Thursday morning…
