New Leadership Council formed to better combat human trafficking in Cuyahoga County

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Collaborative to End Human Trafficking has formed a new Leadership Council to help guide anti-human trafficking initiatives in Cuyahoga County.

The 12-member council includes representatives from County Executive Chris Ronayne’s administration, Sheriff Harold Pretel and CEOs from some of the 75 anti-human trafficking agencies that partner with the Collaborative, a nonprofit advocacy group.

The body is expected to better coordinate strategies among the coalition of partners to support “unified action rooted in prevention, equity and survivor leadership,” the Collaborative’s President and CEO Kirsti Mouncey explained in a recent news release…
