Watch: Cleveland hosts 4th of July fireworks display

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Crowds gathered in downtown Cleveland Friday night for the annual Fourth of July fireworks display.

“Light Up The Lake,” a free, 20-minute fireworks show, kicked off around 10 p.m.

On Wednesday, FOX 8 News caught up with city officials preparing for the Independence Day celebration.

“It’s just a great downtown Cleveland tradition to bring families from around the city and around the region downtown to celebrate the Fourth of July and see a terrific fireworks display,” Downtown Cleveland Alliance President and CEO Michael Deemer said.
