Two teens charged, 16 firearms recovered from break-in at Lorain gun store

LORAIN — Two teens were charged with felonies and 16 firearms were recovered after a stolen Kia crashed into the B&D Shooting Range in South Lorain early Friday morning.

Around 3:30 a.m. B&D Shooting Range owner Robert Debany received a call from the store’s alarm company stating there was an alarm at the Grove Avenue storefront, Debany said.

On his way to the store, he received a call from Lorain police that there was a “smash and grab” involving two teens who reportedly stole a Kia and drove it into the storefront, broke into two display cases and stole more than a dozen handguns…
