15-year-old dies, 3 other teens injured in Cleveland’s Lee-Miles neighborhood

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A 15-year-old boy died and three others were injured in a shooting at a block party in Cleveland’s Lee-Miles neighborhood Saturday.

Darnell Haynes of Cleveland Heights was identified as the victim, according to the office of the Cuyahoga County medical examiner. The office released the identification Monday.

Cleveland police officers from the Fourth District responded to reports of a shooting just before midnight in the 16400 block of Highview Drive. Officers found Haynes lying in the street with a gunshot wound. A group had gathered there earlier for an unpermitted block party, though it is unclear the numbers of people who attended it…
