$81K Ulta theft suspect arrested after Mentor worker sees news report

MENTOR, Ohio — A woman suspected of stealing more than $81,000 in merchandise from Ulta Beauty stores across the country was arrested July 17 after shoplifting from the chain’s Mentor location, police said.

Mentor police said Paula Correa Lopez was taken into custody after a store employee at the Ulta Beauty at 9623 Mentor Ave. recognized her from a local news story about a theft at the Mayfield Heights store.

After identifying her, officers said they determined Lopez had just committed another theft at the Mentor store…
