West Nile Virus found in Portage County cemetery, Kent, other locations

PORTAGE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – A Portage County cemetery is among locations testing positive for the West Nile Virus (WNV).

According to a release from the Portage County Health District (PCHD), mosquito pools in the following locations tested positive:

  • City Park in Streetsboro
  • Bolender Road in Suffield
  • Fairview Cemetery in Hiram

The Kent City Health Department also found WNV within the city of Kent.
