EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio – The mayor of East Cleveland has contacted the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency over what he called “renewed health concerns” related to the former ARCO Recycling dump on Noble Road.
Lateek Shabazz, who has been mayor since mid-July, is asking the Ohio EPA to test the soil and air around the site for contaminants, according to a news release issued earlier this week by the city.
