For Jayne Kennedy, home has been a big part of her life and remains close to her heart.
The former 1970 Miss Ohio USA, model, actress and corporate spokeswoman recently ventured from her home in Los Angeles to Northeast Ohio to receive a number of awards, as well as to be presented with an official proclamation at Wickliffe City Hall by Mayor Joe Sakacs.
During the proclamation presentation, Sakacs recognized the Wickliffe native’s career achievements and contributions to the community.
“It’s incredible because even small moments — you look around and you recognize a street name or you recognize the face walking down the street,” Kennedy said. “The industry and the things they know about — there is no that without the growing up.”…
