Mentor man faces first-degree felony for swing-and-miss punch against cop, police say

MENTOR, Ohio — A Mentor man is facing a first-degree felony after police said he swung at an officer — and missed — during a disturbance at the hotel where he had been living.

Mentor Municipal Court Judge John Trebets on Monday ordered the case involving 46-year-old Jason T. Fenstermaker to be bound over to a Lake County grand jury for consideration.
