17-year-old killed in Maple Heights shooting was Shaker Heights senior

SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) — A 17-year-old boy shot and killed Saturday night in a Maple Heights neighborhood has been identified as a Shaker Heights High School senior.

Police responded at about 10 p.m. to the 5200 block of Thomas Street for a report of gunshots with injuries, according to a previous news release.

Once there, they found two boys had been shot. They were aided then transported to a hospital. Officers then found a third boy along Cato Street, who also had been shot, according to the release.
