BEACHWOOD, Ohio — A Beachwood woman faces charges of drunk driving and hit-skip as her SUV, while turning from a freeway exit ramp, ran into and over a very expensive car.
At 5 p.m. Aug. 30, Beachwood police officers were dispatched to Harvard Road, at I-271. There, police found a disabled McLaren 570 GT, with what appeared to be a broken rear left axle.
The 30-year-old Avon man who had been driving the McLaren stood outside his car. He told police that as he was waiting at the red light, waiting to turn left to enter the I-271 southbound entrance ramp, a Subaru Forester came down the exit ramp, turned right, but failed to properly make the turn…
