Cleveland Hit-and-run Driver Lorenzo Martin Pleads Guilty in Case Leaving Two Utility Workers Injured

Lorenzo Martin has entered a guilty plea in connection with the hit-and-run incident that left two Cleveland Water Department employees injured. Court records from the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas detail how Martin changed his plea during a hearing last Friday. The investigation took a turn when a city security camera captured footage of an SUV, matching the vehicle’s description involved in the crash, leaving the neighborhood. Upon tracing the license plate, investigators arrived at a Maple Heights residence, leading to a knock on the door and the eventual apprehension of Martin by Cleveland and Maple Heights police, as shared in a report by FOX8.
