Man indicted in Strongsville abduction attempt faces judge

CLEVELAND (WJW) — A man accused of trying to abduct a teenage girl who was on her way to school in Strongsville faced a Cuyahoga County judge on Friday morning.

Dominic Sacco, 27, of Strongsville, was indicted last week on felony counts of abduction and attempted abduction. He pleaded not guilty in his first county court appearance Friday morning.

The girl told police the morning of Sept. 5 she had been approached by a man and “forcefully” grabbed while waiting for her school bus along Fair Road. She was able to pull away and run back into her home.

Investigators searched the area and reviewed security camera footage and eventually found the man at a Fair Road home, where he was believed to reside. The girl identified him, according to authorities…
