Trio who shot at Cleveland police officers in ‘violent crime spree’ sentenced

CLEVELAND, Ohio – All three suspects who were indicted on attempted murder charges for shooting at police officers in Cleveland learned how long they’ll be locked up.

“For almost a month, these three individuals terrorized the west side of Cleveland in a violent crime spree,” Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley stated. “They will be spending decades behind bars and have earned every minute of it. We are thankful no Cleveland police officers were injured.”

O’Malley announced these sentences on Sept. 22:

  • Ray Agosto, 40, sentenced to 18-22.5 years in prison
  • Dakota Green, 26, sentenced to 28-32 years in prison
  • Wayne Agosto, 32, previously sentenced to 25-30.5 years in prison
