Ohio bill would let expecting mothers use handicap-accessible parking spaces

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Ohio lawmakers are considering new legislation that would allow expectant mothers to use handicap-accessible parking spots.

State Rep. Heidi Workman of Rootstown, a co-sponsor of House Bill 450, said she understands the challenges firsthand.

“As a mother, I know how difficult it can be during those last two, three months of pregnancy,” Workman said.
