WILLOUGHBY, Ohio (WJW) — The Willoughby Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying five puppies found abandoned in a dumpster.
According to a department statement, the puppies were discovered in a dumpster. Authorities believe the animals were intentionally abandoned and are seeking information on those responsible.
“We are looking for anyone who may know these puppies,” the department said in a social media post. “Please message us — you can remain anonymous.”
The puppies are currently in the care of the Willoughby Police Department, and officers have been in contact with a local animal rescue organization, according to police.
