Gov. Mike DeWine appoints South Euclid Mayor Georgine Welo to nine-member state Transportation Council

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — Mayor Georgine Welo will have a say in deciding which major transportation projects get the go ahead in Ohio after Gov. Mike DeWine appointed her to serve on the state’s Transportation Review Advisory Council (TRAC).

Welo, who has served 21 years as South Euclid’s mayor, was officially sworn in to her appointment on Sept. 29, joining a nine-member body that oversees the evaluation and prioritization of major transportation investments across Ohio.
