CLEVELAND (WJW) – A member of the U.S. Marshals Task Force is recovering after being shot while serving a warrant Wednesday morning in Cleveland.
Law enforcement officers were serving a warrant for a man wanted for a violent crime at about 9 a.m. near East 92nd Street and Hillock Avenue, the I-Team reported.

A source told the FOX 8 I-Team law enforcement was serving a warrant on a man wanted for a felony charge. Following the shooting, the suspect holed up in an apartment, according to FOX 8 crews on the scene.
Following a multi-hour standoff, the suspect was taken into custody.
