CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A deputy U.S. Marshal was shot inside a home on the city’s East side Wednesday morning, and the suspect, a convicted felon, is in custody.
This happened around 8 a.m. in the area of E. 91st Street and Stewart Avenue in the city’s Glenville neighborhood while the deputy U.S. Marshals and Cleveland police were serving a warrant.
The suspect barricaded himself inside a home and fired shots at the law enforcement officers, according to U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott.
