Thousands throughout Northeast Ohio gather for ‘No Kings’ protest: See video from several area rallies

CLEVELAND — Dozens gathered in Cleveland’s Public Square Saturday afternoon for the “No Kings” rally — a demonstration organizers say is about pushing back against symbols of power and privilege.

Marchers chanted and waved handmade signs calling for fairness, freedom, and representation. Protesters told News 5 they’re fed up with systems that elevate individuals above others — whether in politics, wealth, or status.

“This isn’t just about foreign monarchies,” one attendee said. “It’s about challenging everyday inequality here at home.”…
