Lorain County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of a man identified as Anthony Guthman, 23, who was found shot behind the wheel of a vehicle that hit a tree on state Route 57 in Grafton Township early Thursday morning.
The Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a report of a one-vehicle crash at 19257 Route 57 just before 12:30 a.m. The vehicle had gone off the road and hit a tree in front of a residence.
