CLEVELAND (WJW) – A crackdown on violent crime in Cleveland, coordinated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Cleveland police, led to the arrest of violent fugitives and the seizure of guns and drugs.
As part of the violent crime reduction initiative launched on Wednesday, state troopers tracked down a Cleveland man wanted on charges that include possession of illegal weapons, tampering with evidence and resisting arrest.
They boxed in his car in the city’s Corlett neighborhood, but he drove around one of the cruisers and sped away…
