Gas station canopy collapses onto car in Cleveland: Fire officials

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Cleveland fire officials responded after a gas station canopy collapsed onto a car on Tuesday afternoon.

The collapse happened at a Hanini Petroleum gas station at the corner of Lorain Avenue and W. 73rd Street.

The fire department took to X on Tuesday, sharing photos of the canopy that fell on a car and severely damaged gas pumps.

Investigators said there were no injuries and no fuel spills.
