Fire leaves Cleveland apartment ‘uninhabitable’

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – An early morning fire destroyed an apartment in the city’s Central neighborhood.

Cleveland firefighters responded to the 5100 block of Outhwaite Ave., at E. 55th Street, around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday.

This is a Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) apartment building.

The flames were quickly extinguished and contained to the one unit…
