Cleveland bus stop attack victim speaks out

CLEVELAND (WJW) — A Cleveland man is on his way to prison for a brutal attack on a woman at an RTA bus stop, and the victim is sharing her terrifying story with Fox 8 News.

Kimberly Rice, 59, said she was waiting for a bus to take her to work at a local church at 5 a.m. on April 15 in Ohio City, when she was approached by 51-year-old Rayshon Reese, who threatened to kill her if she did not comply with his demands.

She told us, “Then he comes up with this big old box cutter right up to my throat and all I’m doing is looking at that box cutter and then he’s talking about how he would slash my throat right there. He said, ‘You know how easy it is for you to die here, you know, with me slicing your throat.’ And then he said, ‘You have a choice, stay here and die, or come with me, and you’ll die wherever I take you.”
