Orange Village deputy chief charged with drunken driving was previously accused of misconduct in police shooting

CLEVELAND, Ohio — An Orange Village deputy police chief facing drunken driving charges was also sued after he shot someone in 2021.

Patrick O’Callahan, then a lieutenant with Orange Village police, shot Theoplic Williams III, a Black man who was legally carrying a firearm outside a popular shopping center in Woodmere.
