CLEVELAND (WJW) — Sources confirmed to the Fox 8 I-Team that an off-duty Cleveland police officer was robbed on Saturday, and the suspects stole his gun from his vehicle.
According to police, the robbery happened on November 8 at a gas station located at East 40th Street and Quincy Avenue.

“Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim, a 24-year-old male, had arrived at the gas station and began fueling his vehicle when he was approached by a male suspect armed with a firearm,” police stated in an email sent to the I-Team. “The suspect demanded the victim’s property. During the encounter, a second male suspect arrived and searched the victim’s vehicle, locating a firearm belonging to the victim.”
After the robbery, both suspects fled. So far, no arrests have been made.
