Off duty officer says robbers pointed gun at his face

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) — The Fox 8 I-Team obtained a chilling 911 call for help from an off-duty Cleveland police officer.

The off-duty officer called 911 Saturday, shortly after noon, saying he had been held up at gunpoint at a gas station near East 40th and Quincy.

“I am a patrol officer, and they just robbed me at gunpoint, ” the officer told a 911 dispatcher. “Two of them just came when I was trying to get gas.”
