Newburgh Heights police search for suspect in road rage shooting

NEWBURGH HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) – Newburgh Heights police are asking for the public’s help identifying a road rage shooter.

The wild clash happened Wednesday morning around 9 a.m. as the two vehicles were traveling on Interstate 77 northbound in the area of I-480 through Newburgh Heights into Cleveland.

“The two vehicles involved in the road rage incident were stopping and pumping their brakes as they were driving northbound at higher rates of speed,” Police Chief John Majoy said.
