Local teacher suspended after comment about bringing a gun to school

CLEVELAND (WJW) — The FOX 8 I-Team found members of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District Board of Education approved suspending a teacher who was accused of making a comment about bringing a gun to school.

The board agreed to suspend the teacher for three days.

In September, a student told us she had heard the teacher make the comment about a gun.

“Another student from his class, they weren’t in our period, came in to grab a book bag or a book,” the student told the I-Team. “And he said you all gonna make me bring my gun in here.  Then me and my friends said a gun? And he was like, or a baseball bat.”…
