Motorcyclist dies following hit-and-run on Cleveland’s east side; police asking for help

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Police are asking for the public’s help in the search for a hit-and-run driver after a motorcyclist died following a crash on Cleveland’s east side in September.

Gun pulled on 12-year-old at Cleveland park

Police were called to the area of East 78th Street and St. Clair Avenue on Sept. 19 around 9 p.m. for reports of a vehicle collision. Upon arrival, they said they learned the driver of one of the vehicles had fled.

William Hogue, 65, was reportedly found unresponsive at the scene. He had been driving a Suzuki motorcycle at the time of the crash.

Police said Hogue died from his injuries on Nov. 8 and the crash is now being investigated as “a Failure to Stop After an Accident (Felony).”…
