‘It makes me sick’: Residents concerned after gunshots fired at Willowick homes

WILLOWICK, Ohio (WJW) – In a neighborhood where violent crime is unheard of, residents living along Oakdale Road in Willowick were shocked to hear dozens of shots fired just after 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

They told FOX 8 that they were astounded by how quickly Willowick police were on the trail of the gunman.

“I just heard like maybe 15 seconds straight of like ‘pow, pow, pow’ and my mom was sleeping downstairs and it woke her up, and it was just kind of crazy,” said Willowick resident Sebastian Knez. “I didn’t know what was going on, so I looked out the window and I just saw a cop going like 80 miles an hour down the street.”
